Statement of Belief

  • That there is one perfect everliving God or God-kind, who is a compound unity, comprised of three persons or subsistences.  The persons who comprise this tri-unity or God family are: the Father, the Holy Spirit, the Son or Word of God.  The Father is the source of all life, supreme in authority; the Holy Spirit and the Son proceeding from the Father from eternity.  (De.32:3-4; Mt.5:48; 1Co.8:5-6; Ep.4:3-6, 30; Jn.1:1, 14, 18; Ac.1:7; Jn.15:26; Pr.8:22-24; Jn.5:26, 6:57.)
  • That God made humankind, both male and female, in the image and likeness of God.  In so doing, God gave humans a spirit & mind which provides us with intelligent self-awareness and moral capability, as God has.  (Ge.1:26-27, 2:7; Jb.32:8; 1Co.2:11.)
  • That God purposes to adopt humans as sons & daughters, and thereby give us life forever, as God has.  But God’s adopted children will not be original Creators as God is, nor will humans be God in the breadth that God is God.  (Ro.8:14-16, 23; 2Pe.1:4; Ge.1:1-2; Jb.33:4; Ps.104:30, 33:6; Col.1:15-16; Is.45:18, 43:10.)
  • That humans are subject to wrongdoing or sin, and die physically; and God will not dwell forever in the Kingdom of God amidst sin unatoned.  (Ro.3:10, 23, 6:23; Lk.13:3; Ps.5:4; Mk.1:14-15; Da.7:13-14.)
  • That the Father sent the Son, as the God-man Jesus/Yeshúa the Christ, to die in order to atone for the sins of humanity – and resurrected Him.  (1Co.15:3-4; 1Jn.2:2; He.4:14-16, 9:27-28.)
  • That for adoption/sonship God sends the Holy Spirit to join with the spirit of us humans who repent of sin and believe in Jesus’ atoning death.  (Ac.2:38; 1Co.6:17; Ro.6:12; 1Jn.3:4-6.)
  • That the salvation of humanity is by the: grace of God, death & life of the Son, regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.  (Pr.28:13; 1Jn.1:9; Ro.10:9-10; Ep.1:7; Jn.6:63a; 1Co.3:16.)
  • That repentant believers are to be immersed in water baptism, in the name of Jesus.  This holy ceremony is a public witness of the inner cleansing from a life of sin.  (Mt.3:13-16, 28:18-19; Jn.4:1-2; Mk.16:15-16; Ac.2:38, 8:12, 36-38, 10:47-48, 22:7-8, 16; Ro.6:3-5; Col.2:12; 1Pe.3:21.)
  • That believers are to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, which represents the body & blood of Jesus who died for us.  The local assembly comes to the Lord’s table together for this remembrance.  (Lk.22:19-20; 1Co.10:16-17, 21, 11:20-28; Jn.6:53-56; Ge.14:18; He.6:20, 10:25.)
  • That the Bible contains the authoritative written words of God, authored by the Holy Spirit acting within human agents.  It is the foundational instruction book for humankind, containing the eternal principles for living God’s way in joy forever with a spiritual body.  (Jn.17:17; 2Ti.3:16; Lk.24:44; 2Pe.1:21; De.30:9-10, 19; Jn.5:39; 2Co. 5:1-2; 1Co.15:42-44; Ps.16:11; 1Jn.3:2.)
  • That the Decalogue/Ten Commandments are the Lord’s core commands, to be obeyed.  They reflect love to God, love to neighbor & mankind, and love to ourself.  Disobedience to God is sin.  (Ex.20:1-17; De.5:6-21; Ec.12:13; Jn.14:15; De.6:5; Le.19:18b; Lk.10:25-28; Mt.19:17b-19; Ro.13:9; Ja.2:8; 1Jn.5:3, 3:4; Re.14:12.)
  • That at Creation God ordained His 7th day sabbath as recurring holy time which comes & goes each week for mankind.  Man is unable to alter the movement of the heavenly bodies for nights and days – time, which determines the sabbath.  (Ge.2:1-3; Ex.20:8-11; De.5:12-15; Is.56:4-6, 58:13-14; Lk.4:16, 23:54-56; Ac.13:42-44, 18:4, 16:13; Mt.24:20; Mk.2:27-28; He.4:9.)
  • That the pre-incarnate Christ, the primordial Word of God, was the Lord God of Old Testament ancient Israel.  (Jn.1:1-4, 14; De.32:3-4, 18 & 1Co.10:4; Is.6:1-3 & Jn.12:41-42; Is.8:13-14 & 1Pe.2:7-8; Ps.80:1 & Jn.10:14; Ge.18:1 & Jn.8:56-58.)
  • That Christ instructed His people about His dietary laws; including which creatures of His Creation are fit/unfit for human consumption and health.  (Ge.1:29, 7:2; Le.11:1-47; De.14:2-20; Le.17:10-15, 20:18; Ac.15:29, 10:14; Re.18:2; Ezk.44:23; Is.66:16-17; He.13:8; 3Jn.1:2.)
  • That the Holy Spirit impresses God’s just moral laws and principles of living upon our human spirits & minds.  This sanctifying process of holiness ensures that humans will not continue to disobey or rebel against God while living forever.  (Ja.4:12a; Ex.20:1-17; Ps.19:7, 119:142, 172; Is.8:20; 1Jn.5:3; 1Co.6:9-10; Ga.5:19-21; He.10:16; Ac.5:32; 2Th.2:13; 2Pe.3:18; Re.22:14.)
  • That the indwelling Holy Spirit and eternal life is available to both males and females of all races & skin colors, as the Father chooses.  (Jn.6:44; Ac.11:18; 1Co.12:13; Re.7:9-12.)

  1. Hello,
I like to receive or speak with somebody, who could give me more information about the beliefs you express on this website. Maybe the Holy Spirit has lead me to here, and I like to do my due diligence.

    Kind regards,
    Marty
